In the previous press release, we’ve shown you the insides of Amstel Flanders HQ in the contract department. Professional cycling is tough and so negotiations, all parts want to get what they want and reaching a fair agreement for all it’s important.
Our hiring staff led by Team Ambassador Richard Masson intensified contacts and private meetings with riders and their agents. Although not all negotiations are over, we are proud to announce some of them ended happily for both the team and the cyclists.
Sam Azargoshasp - 34 years old (1 season deal left) - (225 SP/277 SARS) (RENEWED) ---- (2 seasons deal left) [New Contract, until S68, 3,5M$ salary]
Zack Fayard - 32 years old (1 season deal left) - (226 HLSP) (RENEWED) ---- (2 seasons deal left) [New Contract, until S68, 1,05M$ salary + bonus]
-----------------------
Sam Azargoshasp: This is the best news and main happiness of the staff. Iranman and the team agreed on the personal terms of his new contract and the Iranian star signed for another season (S68), so there’s more Azargoshasp in the near future. Mr. Masson left the meeting with a wide grin, shaking his head slightly before making a short commentary.
“Everything was clear for us and Sam, both parts wanted to stay together and reaching an agreement was too easy. Sam is a living legend of the team, he deserves the best; you can’t acquainted it with money or years of contract,” Richard Masson said before leaving the place.
Words from Sam Azargoshasp to our official channel, Amstel Flanders TV.
“To me it’s a pleasure and honor to stay more time in the team. I have to thank the staff for their opportunity, believing in my potential, my team mates who struggled many afternoons to reach good results together and of course all the fans of our team, your support make us faster.
There is no other place where I can be happy, this is my home. And it wasn’t a matter of good contractual conditions, but more of being important for the squad. They (Staff) think the same way I do, so extending my career with this great team was the right choice to take,” Iranman finished while smiling to the camera.
Zack Fayard: As predicted, French rider renewed his contract with the team; Mr. Masson was crucial to complete the negotiations and one of the team leaders will extend his journey defending our colors. Manager Williamson is also happy with Zack, a reliable rider for tricky races and a good man. Allez, Fayard!
Zack Fayard to Amstel Flanders TV.
“My only priority was this team. They gave me the chance to lead and fulfill my dream of winning in professional cycling. I will give all I got left in the tank for this jersey and hopefully we will achieve more important stuff,” Fayard said.
Two key renovations for the team, while meetings still going on with the other riders. After Men become Gods Tour our staff will contact Aksentiev’s and Hanák’s agents to set meetings and try to solve their contracts. Same about Nkurunziza, who’s enjoying a break from racing; however, his agent hasn’t picked up the phone to attend our staff so the confidence has lowered a bit.
Lastly, we were notified French talent Josselin Tellier will be set to join the team from Rantanplan for a 82k$ fee. Looks like Mr. Masson was responsible of his arrival since manager Williamson wasn’t aware of this move. It seems our Team Ambassador is frenchifying the roster, as he’s after some other French riders, we only hope they aren’t bound to French tradition of waving the white flag.
Over n’ Out.

Let's see what he can do, since Metodija had a great tour and would like good contract.
Richard is doing a good job - hopefully he can negotiate a good deal for Aksentiev!
Yeah, just wondering about Aksentiev. His agent will ask more because he's over his usual level now lol
Classic.
